Their daughter, Nancy Jane Davis, married James Harvey Patterson, Dec. 12, 1850. Their daughter, Permelia Ann Patterson married Chalres S. Fortner. They are my grandmother, Amelia E. Fortner's parents. Someone e-mailed me to state Charles S. Fortner's father was William H. Fortner (Faulkner) b. 1824. He was married to Minerva, b. 1836. Minerva's father ws Alexander Patterson, b. 1808 in Crocket's Cove. I have not been able to confor this. Since I could not find more on Charles S. Fortner, I decided to trace my great grandmother, Permelia Ann Patterson. and found her grandparents were Archiblad Davis and Elizabeth Caddall. Elizabth Caddall's parents were Samuel Caddall, b. l759, Down Ireland and d. Oct. l3, l832, buried Thornspring Farm Cemetery. He was married to Ann Nancy Cecil. Samuel Caddall's parents were Richard and Anna Hanna Cochran, b. l739. Richard's parents were Richard b. 1700 and Rebecca. Is this the same info that you have?
