Samuel's daughter Elizabeth Caddell (l796) married Archibald Davis. Elizabeth was my g. g.grandmother. Her daughter was Nancy Jane Davis (1830) married to James H. Patterson (1829 Wythe Co.) Their daughter Permelia Ann Patterson b. 1853 married Charles S. Fortner. They are my great grandparents. Their daughter Amelia E.Fortner was my grandmother.
