She was preceded in death by her husband, William Coupe. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William and Rebecca Coupe of Roanoke; three daughters and sons-in-law, Arleine and Rex Taylor of Check, Audrey and Howard Miller of Pennsylvania, Hazel and Bob DiComillo of Pennsylvania; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and special caregivers, Angie Manning, Angie Able and Kelli Able. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery. He was born in Radford on September 22, 1959 and was the son of the late Shirley Ann Davis. He was a member of the Church of God in Dublin and was an employee of Volvo GM in Dublin. Surviving are his wife, Janet Clark Davis, Dublin; daughter, Heather Nicole Davis, Dublin; half sister, Dana Bane, Dublin; half brother, Steven Lynn, Dublin; five cousins, Jerry Davis, Dublin, Tommy Davis, Pulaski, Joe Davis, Pulaski, David Davis, Dublin, Roger Davis, Dublin; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Collins and Rev. Tom Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery, Pulaski County. Sr., 74, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2000 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital from heart failure. He was a proud veteran of WW II serving in the Western Pacific. The son of the late Roy and Blanche Harmon, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Shelor and Jean Witt, a brother, Walter Harmon, and an infant grandson. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Mildred A. Harmon; four dedicated and loving children, Guy B. Harmon, Jr., Linda McGuire and husband, Eugene, Charlotte Harmon, and Faye Harmon; two brothers, Johnny and Roscoe Harmon; a special uncle, Jock; and cousins, Kathleen and George; also many wonderful in-laws, nieces, nephews and special friends. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Ken Jones and the staff at Christiansburg Family Practice for their kindness and care over the many years. W., (Mike), 77, of Roanoke, formerly of Clifton Forge, passed away Friday, December 8, 2000. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion S. Fuhrman in 1980, a son-in-law, William Dekker, four sisters, two brothers and a grandson, Jason Miles. Born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Frank H. and Magdalena Friesmuth Fuhrman. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. Surviving are his sons and daughter-in-law, Richard W. Fuhrman of Covington, Michael S. and Pam Fuhrman, Steven P. Fuhrman, all of Roanoke; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth F. and Dr. William Sibley of Roanoke, Anne F. Dekker of Daleville, Suzanne F. and Joe Miles of Christiansburg, Sara F. and Ernest Dodd of Salem; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Fuhrman and his wife, Beverly of Wisconsin; sisters, Rosella Thompson of Wisconsin and Evangeline Huffington of Oklahoma. She was born in Floyd County on November 17, 1919, to the late Joseph Simmons Alderman and the late Lura Minus Harris Alderman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Marshall; four half brothers, Posey, Glenn, Fred, and Edward Alderman; and a half sister, Lucille Alderman. Mrs. Marshall is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Linkous, who was her twin, of Riner, and Mrs. Loula Mae Cockram of Vesta; five half sisters, Mrs. Ruth Austin of Radford, Ms. Irene Alderman of Christiansburg, Mrs. Clara Williams of Stuart, Mrs. Ruby Sloan of Blacksburg, and Mrs. Judy Reynolds of Meadows of Dan; two half brothers, Frank Alderman of Bassett and Joseph Simmons Alderman, Jr. of Vesta; a special friend, Jim Gunter of Vesta; and 25 nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elder Edward Bowman officiating.
