Born in Quincy, Mass., Oct. 12, 1893, the son of the late Sydney and Isobel Ferguson ALDRED, he was a retired Appalachian Power Company employe. Mr. Aldred is survived by his wife, Mrs. Una Walker Aldred; one son, Francis K. ALDRED, Lynchburg; five sisters, Mrs. Frank JOHNSON, Mrs. Allen MURRARY, Mrs. Eric DEXTER, Mrs. Loring ANDREWS and Miss Grace ALDRED, all of Halifax, Canada. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a. m. from Christ Episcopal Church, with the Rev. John R. Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Birchlawn Cemetery, Pearisburg. The body will remain at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will include Foy J. HOWARD, William T. TATE, C. L. WHITEHURST, Jr., A. F. HORNE, Vernon W. HINTON, and John R. POWERS.
