He is survived by his wife, Frances Ramey of the home; one daughter, Brenda (Donald) Wright of Cary, N.C.; two sons, Harold (Valerie) Ramey of Christiansburg, Wayne (Bernica) Ramey of Radford; one sister, Betty Lester of Christiansburg; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was born in Longshop, Va. on July 21, 1910 to the late Robert M. and Drucilla Long Keister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashby Harry White and a grandson, Richard Michael Reynolds. Mrs. White was a life long member of the Shiloh Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Verna W. and Johnson Reynolds of Longshop; her sister, Alice K. McMahan of Longshop; four grandchildren and spouses, Ann Marie and Martin Paulson, David J. Reynolds and Lorrie Saville, Robert K. and Leanne Reynolds, Melanie Ann Reynolds; eight great-grandchildren. He was born December 3, 1924 in Louisville, Ky. and was the son of the late Ray Kingsley and Robert Curtis Will. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Sarah Tyler Smyser Will. He is survived by his sons, Tyler Smyser Will and Trenia Bell Will and their sons, Logan and Tanner Will, and Robert Kingsley Will, Jr. and his wife, Jane Sullivan Will and their children, Bryan, Thomas and Amy Will. He is also survived by his daughters, Sara Will Hodge and Robert Kenneth Hodge and their sons, Matthew and Josiah Hodge, and Cynthia Will Dettmer and her husband, Craig L. Dettmer and their children, Nicholas and Samantha Dettmer. He is also survived by his wife and best friend, Megan Hobson Will. Mr. Will served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He received his B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville in 1948, the M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in Perdue University in 1950 and his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University in 1966. Mr. Will retired from Virginia Tech University after 37 years of service as an associate professor in various departments of the College of Engineering. Memorial mass will be conducted Thursday, May 17, 2001 at 1 p.m. in St. Peters Anglican Catholic Church in Christiansburg with Father Harry B. Scott, III officiating.
