Arrangements by Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- CHAPMAN, Nancy Lee, 50, of Blacksburg, died Monday, April 2, 2001 at the Kroontje Health Care Center. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- DUNCAN, Constance Hogan, (Connie) 43, of Prices Fork, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born on June 21, 1957 to the late Robert Lee Hogan and Dorothy Dowdy. She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Duncan of Prices Fork; a daughter, Michelle Dawn Duncan, Prices Fork; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra Dowdy and Robert S. Carr of Pulaski; a brother, Terry Wayne Dowdy; and her grandmother, Bertie Dowdy of Pulaski. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at 1 p.m. in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg with the Rev. Everette Shepherd officiating. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- FIZER, Leon, 54, of Radford, died Saturday, March 31, 2001 in a Roanoke Hospital. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Vernon and Ethel Fizer, Radford; four brothers, Curtis Lee Fixer, Pilot, Vernon Eugene (Gene) Fizer, Dublin, Masen Henry (Button) Fizer, Hiwassee, George Walter (peanut) Fizer, Radford; his faithful companion, Betty Flinchum, Radford and her special children, Eric Flinchum and Crystal Flinchum; along with special grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jessica Hall, and Charity and Tanisha Flinchum; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday April 4, 2001 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with Bishop Jim Cloe officiating. Internment will follow in Lytton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 3, 2001 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Radford. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- NEAL, Wesley Leon Sr., 62, of Christiansburg, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at New River Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Austin Neal and also by a son, Wesley Leon Neal, Jr. He was a member of New Life Harvest Church and a retired press operator with Hubble Lighting, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Linda N. Neal of Christiansburg; five sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Ellen Neal and Robert and Barbara Neal, both of Christiansburg, Lorne and Pat Springs of Yuma, Ariz., Randy Springs and Kevin Neal, both of Christiansburg; two daughters and son-in-law, Debra Turner of Radford, Kaye and Billy Meadows of Blacksburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Linda Neal and Tommy and Shirley Neal, both of Radford; one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Paul Brewer of Dublin; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the New Life Harvest Church in Radford with the Rev. Dallas Vines and the Rev. Wayne Poston officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the New Life Harvest Church in Radford. Arrangements by Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- RASNAKE, Jessie Eugene, of Christiansburg, was born on September 25, 1942 and died on April 1, 2001 at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 7 days. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in the Horne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ralph Cooper, Rev. Jim Duty and Rev. Mark Justice officiating. Graveside services will follow in Sunset Cemetery with full military honors conducted by VFW Post 1184, Pulaski. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to help with medical expenses.
