Memorial service, 7 p.m. Wednesday at Christian Growth Center Church, Christiansburg. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- HARRIS, Nellie Mae Moles, 76, of Willis, passed away Monday, April 9, 2001 in a Roanoke hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Harris and two brothers, Lewis and Vasco Moles. Survivors include one son, Jerrell R. Harris of Willis; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beulah and Charles Conner of Floyd, Rhonda and James Holland of Floyd; four grandchildren, David Conner and wife, Karen of Pittsburg, Pa., Danah M. Conner of Christiansburg, Jason and Wesley Turner of Floyd; great-grandson, Matthew Conner of Pittsburg, Pa.; four sisters, Ethelene Webb, Eulala Harman of Willis, Hazel West of Pamplin, Hula Nester of Ringgold; and a sister-in-law, Elvia Moles. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Duncan and the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Burial will be in Topeco Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Maberry Funeral Home. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- NESTER, Mary Magdalene McCoy, 81, a resident of the Pulaski Health Care Center, and formerly of Bluefield, W.Va., passed away Sunday, April 8, 2001 at the New River Valley Medical Center. Born February 27, 1920 in Tazewell County, she was the daughter of the late Jasper N. McCoy and Frances Elizabeth Lowe McCoy. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Hazel Pruitt, Addie Altizer, Juanita Wingo, and Nannie Asbury; and one brother, Jay McCoy. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she was a member of the First Church of God in Bluefield, W.Va. She was a retired seamstress with the former Richmond Dry Cleaners of Bluefield, W.Va. Surviving are two daughter and sons-in-law, Gwendolyn "Gwen" and Emory Arnold of Dublin, Linda and John Stevens of Sykesville, Md.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Howard C. and Lucy Nester, Jr. of Chesterfield, Paul E. and Ruth Nester of Chesterfield, Daniel W. and Judy Nester of Chesterfield; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Ola Mae and Joe Sparks of Cedar Bluff; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Donn Sunshine officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. until time of service. Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Greenhill Memory Gardens Chapel, #4, Claypool Hill, Va. with the Rev. Sam Altizer officiating. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. until service time. He was owner and operator of Custom Cycle Shop in Radford. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethelyn White. Survivors include his wife, Sharon White of Radford; two daughters and future son-in-law, Amanda and Ashley White of Radford and Eric Worley of Pulaski; father and special mother, James M. and Colleen White of Radford; special daughter, Sara Toney of Christiansburg; sister, Judy Carter of Radford; special brothers, Howard McGhee of Radford, Mike Carter of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Denise Cales; brothers-in-law, Dennis Cales, Larry Parks, Butch Eads; niece, Melissa D. Wallace; nephews, Brian Carter, Cory Graves; five uncles; two aunts; and all of Terry's very special friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the West Radford Church of God in Radford with Robin Angle and Donna Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the West Radford Church of God. Leroy was employed by the Town of Christiansburg. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2001 in the Horne Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Buck Yopp officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
