MABE John Robert MABE, 83, Max Meadows, died Monday afternoon in Pulaski Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Wythe County, the son of the late William Harvey MABE and Susie HARRELL MABE, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude NUNN MABE; two sons, Robert Lewis MABE, Max Meadows; Benjamin Franklin MABE, Bristol, Tenn.; one brother, T. P. MABE, Wytheville; four sisters, Mrs. W. E. WARDEN, Rose BRIM and Miss Nancy MABE, all of Draper; Mrs. R. E. AMBURN, Pulaski, four grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the residence at Fort Chiswell, with the Rev. L. N. Kegley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The body will be removed from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home to the residence late Tuesday afternoon.
