New River Obituaries ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- DeHART, Meryl Greenall, 79, of Radford, died Thursday, June 14, 2001. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and was retired from the Medical Department of Hercules. Upon her retirement, she became a longtime volunteer until her death at Radford Community Hospital and then at the New River Valley Medical Center. She was a loving mother and wife. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Charles L. DeHart of Radford; son and daughter-in-law, Charles L., Jr. and M. Elizabeth DeHart of Corpus Christi, Texas; granddaughter, Julianna Terhune of Shawsville. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Radford with the Rev. B. Kris Kramer officiating. Interment will follow in Grace Garden. The family will receive friends following the service in the Parrish Hall of Grace Episcopal Church.
