Montgomery County employees, extremely so. However, state cutbacks and the amount of requested research to various courthouses is often overwhelming, and I can see requests being returned. Not due to any kickbacks or financial gain, there just is not time in day to day work management to do all reseach for every request. This has hampered my research as I no longer travel any distance looking for those elusive ancestors. But to call any of these employees lazy, incompetant or looking for financial gain is wrong.
