Several of us who have been doing Odell research have questioned the correct name for E W Odell, son of Levi Odell: Eldridge vs Elonzo In the Pulaski County Marriage Records E W Odell was listed as Elonzo Odell while on the various census reports it was clearly Eldridge. I just found an entry in Jeff Weaver's book Reserves, part of The Virginia Regimental Series (Civil War) On page 406 Jeff lists the man in question as Eldridge Odell. So, it appears that the choice of Eldridge far outweighs Elonzo. Anyone else working on this family? J
