Born June 19, 1913 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late John C. and Mary Elizabeth SAUNDERS WHITE. WHITE was a member of the Woman's Memorial Lutheran Church; Pulaski Lodge No. 1057 BPOE, Post No. 7 American Legion, Pulaski Volunteer Fire Department, Veterans of WW II, and employed at Va. Maid Hosiery Mills. Surviving are his wife, Berkie POE WHITE, Washington D.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Jack GILL, Pulaski; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Paul QUESENBERRY, White Sands, N. M.; Mrs. John E. WHEELING, Martinsville, Va.; Mrs. Frank L. HAWKINS, San Jose, Calif.; four brothers Randall W. WHITE, Princeton, W. Va.; John Frederick WHITE, Keystone, W. Va.; Ernest F. WHITE and Everett E. WHITE, both of Pulaski. Funeral services were held today at 2 p. m. from the Woman's Memorial Lutheran Church with the pastor the Rev. Paul B. C----- officiating. Burial followed in the family plot in Oakwood. Pallbearers were members of the Brotherhood of the Church. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Fire Department. The body remained at Stevens until 1 p. m. Monday.
