Interment was in the Sunset cemetery, Christiansburg. Mr. CANNADAY, who died yesterday after a several months illness, took an active part in political and civic affairs of the community. He served as member of the house of delegates, representing Floyd county from 1898 to 1902. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Della HALL CANNADAY, and the following children: Mrs. Dan RAKES, Rocky Mount; Mrs. Joseph COATES, Galax; Mrs. George UZZELL, Wilson, N. C.; Mrs. William SHARPE, Elm City, N. C.; Mrs. E. L. VEST, Christiansburg; Miss Hattie CANNADAY and Jesse M. CANNADAY, of Pulaski; a sister, Mrs. G. W. BOARD, Christiansburg, and four grandchildren. Pallbearers included Harry BOARD, of Wytheville; Dr. F. P. BRAMMER, of Dublin; Fred LAWRENCE, of Cambria; Alvin LAWRENCE, Kirby LAWRENCE and Vernon SPENCER, all of Christiansburg; Ferd HARVEY and Harry HALL, both of Pulaski. Honorary pallbearers included N. B. HARVEY, Rhea UMBERGER, Bill HALL, Grover BOOTHE, Grover BOOTHE, jr., Sexton DALTON, Walter ALLISON, Glenn HALL, Dr. R. H. WOOLLING, W. C. RHUDY, T. M. PAINTER, Charles MACGILL, Frank MILLIRONS, B. K. HALL, Dick ELKINS, Roby SUTHERLAND, Hensel ECKMAN, Charlie HORTON, O. P. JORDAN, John DRAPER, D. R. WOOD, Robley WOOD, W. L. DUDLEY, Newton CANNADAY and Curtis JORDAN.
