On May 23,1926 they were received by letter in the Belmont Presbyterian Church of Roanoke, Va. Could anyone furnish (or tell me where I could obtain same) name(s) of Presbyterian Churches in Pulaski, VA between 1907 and 1926 or where their history is kept. *The only wife listed at time of transfer was the mother, Mary Lillian. I am at a brick wall. I assume from searches, that my James Bascom Morris would have been living in that area since birth until family moved to the Roanoke area. He was going to school in Roanoke, Va in 1923/4 and was in US Navy in Nov 1924. James may possibly have had two sons, Byron and Irwin, possibly by first wife, but not confirmed. Second divorce in 1944 stated there were no minor children. Would like to know any information one may care to furnish on the family, and the names of Presbyterian Churches in area during period family lived there so that I could make an effort to search their records.
