I am asking for help from the HARRELL and the VAPULASKI listers. I have a problem. My great great grandfather, James A HARRELL h/o Margaret E, died in Pulaski , VA in 1894 according to the pension application. James is the father of Robert J HARRELL who is the father of Fred B HARRELL. I received a letter today from the Commonwealth of VA stating that my "request for the death cert. of James A HARRELL couldn't be filled because the death records for 1894 in Pulaski, VA are missing" So where do I turn now? Suggestions? I do not know where he is buried so can't even contact the cemetery office. I can't go through Margaret's records because she is also 'among my missing ancestors'.
