Morris who could have possibly been Lema (?Lemuel) til I saw the birthdate you supplied. It has been said that the Lema I am looking for could have possibly been a twin (who either died in child birth or in his early years) to Robert Vernon (as listed on his memorial stone, but in one census is listed as Vernon R. born 20 Sep 1900 and one listed a Lema as first child but didn't list a Robert Vernon or a Vernon R (they were 1910 and 1920 census of Virginia). Rogers, (b 2/15/1865, d 2/20/1899) & Elvira Jane Clark. I have most of the Clark information but I can't seem to find the date of their marriage, or the names of James parents or where he came from. I assume James and Elvira were married in Pulaski, VA. I do know that they were buried there in the Clark, Rogers, Nunn Cemetery in Delton, VA. I have seen the 1860 census from there and I found Elvira and her parents but I could not find James. Does anyone have anything on him at all? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
