I've encountered a mystery that I'm hoping someone has some info on. I'm redoing the cemetery page and adding tons of info but in the Pinehurst cemetery there are the following deaths for the Belcher Family and all of the children's deaths occured May 22, 1931 Sam Henry Belcher age 12 James Price Belcher age 8 Elizabeth Belcher age 7 William Lee Belcher age 10 If anyone has any information on their deaths I'd love to hear from you. Hi Bonnie and all, Oh, yes, I have noticed that, but forgot to mention it. The one from "Hiwassee" is actually in Newbern, same as the one labelled Dublin. I've been there. Most of the people there were descendants of Samuel Hurst and Virginia Breeding who were born in VA, probably in Hiwassee, moved to Claiborne County, TN, then came back after the Civil War, but settled in Newbern. That's the group which has had lots of reunions every few years. There are several Hurst cemeteries in Hiwassee which have not be transcribed online.
