They lived most of their lives, esp. the two decades in Pulaski, VA. Both died in Pulaski and were buried in Dublin in Highland Memorial Gardens. Cap died in 1992 and Raymond died in 1987. Surnames: Windle Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/2BC.2ACI/847 Message Board Post: John William Windle b. 1804 arrived in Pulaski County somewhere between 1840 and 1850 cencus. He is listed in the 1850 Census as being 46 and a farmer. He is not in the 1860 census. John William was my great-great-great grandfather. I need to know his date of death. Virginia Bureau of Vital Records indicates their records are sketchy from 1853 to 1912. Any information on his year of death would be most helpful.

    3. I have a special surprise for everyone!! I managed to purchase on EBAY the 1923 Pulaski County High School annual and I've scanned up the majority of it and put it online for you! http://www.rootsweb.com/~vapulask/edu/1923/index1923.html And the person that I purchsed it from is also donating some photographs of the Valley View Apartments explosion that I will scan up and put online when I receive them next week. So everyone enjoy my tremendous find (and Pam Jones....Dewey Dalton is in the class of 1926...he was Vice President of the student body!) Another funny note is that Conway Smith (the gentleman who wrote "The Land that is Pualski County") was the 1924 class Historian! Tami Ramsey
