There's a place on the hill, That's peaceful and still Where she'll sleep beside Daddy again. The old family tree is shedding its leaves, But we'll all meet in heaven someday. Oh, she's an angel, let her fly, let her fly: She's gone home to glory to her home in the sky. When God sees her coming, Heaven's choir will smile and sing; Oh, she's an angel, let her fly. She used to rock me when I was a child And sing "Rock of Ages" And "The Sweet By and By." Her life wasn't easy, But oh, how hard she tried. Lord, she's an angel, let her fly. Please write the [email protected] if you are interested in submitting info for the book, if we can get it started again. This way we will know if it is feasible now. Tami, don't have a heart attack. I will keep track of the responses. I am curious as to who might be. Also if anyone can think of any way to help spark an interest in the county residents; I don't know what was used to garner interest. I have relatives living there now. How about contacting the Southwest Times? FYI, the SW Times has a website, but it is under construction. For non area list members it is the newspaper for the area. You will not find it on a newspaper search site. I know; I tried for hours one day. I will have to look up the url, all my attempts off the top of my head have failed.

That is where I found her name. The link does not work anymore that is connected to her name, just like the one I have saved doesn't either. ==== VAPULASK Mailing List ==== - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- How to unsubscribe. 3. I looked for the url that described what was to be done and when, but it no longer works. I am still looking for the email addy for the person who was the contact for this book. Will keep looking. I had just "happened upon" it while surfing about a year ago. If any of you have seen some county heritage books in some other state, like NC; it was supposed to be something like that. And they were requesting researchers to get their articles together for the book this company was planning to do for Pulaski. I believe the date of starting to submit these articles was the beginning of next year, but I am not sure. They were also going to do some surrounding counties, so I guess that will be where I will look next. If anyone else also saw something about this book, please post to the list. I need help. Thanks, Bonnie Williams Researching: Ashfords, Breedings, Hursts, Nunns and Willis' in Pulaski Co

    3. The answer to the question was that flower girls were usually somehow related to the family, nieces, grandchildren, etc. and they would carry the flowers from the home or church to the cemetery. As a matter of fact according to others this is still practiced. Tami P.
