I recently obtained a copy of the death certificate for Nancy Agnes (Rogers) Quesenberry, widow of Leander Clay Quesenberry. Nancy died on April 26, 1922. According to her death certificate, she is buried in Oakwood Cemetery. Leander died on December 25, 1914 in Raleigh County, West Virginia. I would like to obtain copies of the cemetery records for Nancy and inquire if Leander is also buried at Oakwood. Does anyone have the address or the name of a contact person for Oakwood? Any assistance would be appreciated. Mary Kay Mabe [email protected]

Posted on: Pulaski Co. Va Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Va/PulaskiObits/10173 Surname: FARMER, MILTON ------------------------- Source SW Times, Wednesday Evening, August 4, 1920 Miss Eliza FARMER died last midnight at her home on Valley Street, having been taken ill Monday Morning. She had been in failing health for some time due to the infirmities of age, but more recently had seemed much better than usual. Sunday evening she accompanied some callers to the door and seemed unusually bright but was stricken ill only a few hours later. The funeral has been arranged for Thursday morning at 10 oclock and will be conducted from her late home, the Rev. R.M. Standefer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The deceased was a native and life long resident of the county, being one of its oldest residents. She was the daughter of William FARMER and Martha MILTON and 93 years of age. For many years she, her brother, Dr. William FARMER who died February 24th last, and a sister, Miss Malinda FARMER, maintained a home together, living for years in the Oak Chapel section, this was while the doctor conducted an itinerary practice as a dentist through this section of southwest Virginia. When he established an office in Pulaski, the family became residents of the town, the sister dying several years ago. One brother survives, H.H. FARMER, of Hillsville, who is nearing 90. It has been a family blest with long life. This lone brother in the far evening of his life has the deepest sympathy of a host of friends. The deceased was a woman beloved by many friends, but those only who knew her best can attest the influence of the beautiful life she lived. Since the passing of her brother she has received every care and attention of those who occupied with her the home and also of intimate friends. She was never failing in expressions of the kindness of all of those during her last days.

If anyone can answer this I would greatly appreciate it.
