Was he from PE County? Sorry, I live in Northern VA and do not have any access to the PE Courthouse. I am researching the Henry P. Davis family. Henry's brother William Spencer Davis married Martha White Venable in 1808. I only know of one son Robert Venable Davis who was born c. 1813 and died I believe in the 1890's.
