Hello subscribers, I am sending this message to all the regular lists that I manage, so I apologize up front to those of you who will undoubtedly receive this more than once. First, let me wish all of you a very happy and healthy New Year. Second, I would like to ask that each of you take some time to think of what piece of information you would like to know that is relevant to this list. Once you have settled on what you would like to know most, please send your "wish list" to the list. Some guiding rules: 1) Please use a meaningful subject line when you write, including some aspect of what you wish to know about. 2) Please restrict your messages to wishes that are relevant to the list. For surname lists, your wish must be directly related to the surname. For county lists, your wish must be directly related to the county. For any special lists, your wish must be related to the special topic of the list. 3) If you are new to the list, or haven't been very active, please introduce yourself to your fellow subscribers so that we might all have a better idea of who is seeking what information. 4) If you have access to any resources that are particularly relevant to the list, please mention it/them. 5) If you don't have any particular wishes, go ahead and let us know what you are researching anyway -- as long as it relates to the list topic.
