Minnie m. Newton T. Abbott (am descended from this lineage). The 4 Thompson sons married several times into family names of Atkins/Bowles/Saunders (Wyatt); Adkins(Edward); Parker/Pickral(Eugene) and Bowles/Bates/Daniels(D Floyd). Powaten also had a borther, William L or William T Thompson and he had a large family also: Nellie; Millie; John W; James O; Thomas; and Benjamin. I know Pr Edward Co had a well-known Thompson family but to the best of my knowledge this Thompson family came from Pittsylvania Co but I have had a hard time finding out more about Powhaten & William's paternal lineage (their mother was an Ann Thompson, who I also know nothing about).
