He lived just north of the village Rice where his farm was. No indications have been found of a grave. He attended the Sharon Baptist Church which is southwest of the village of Rice, VA in Pr Edward Co, Va. There is an old section of graves, all unmarked. No records have been located that he was buried there. The Crute farm remained in the family for over 100 years.
