    1. [VAPRINCE] Re: VAPRINCE-D Digest V03 #51-Bass School
    2. Aumon Bass was a well-known teacher of the Deaf at the Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind in Staunton VA. He was in his '70s in the late '50-'60's. My father was a student of his and we (my parents & I) visited him and his wife many times when we went down to Farmville, VA (his ancestral home). I think both the Gallaudet University Archives in Washington DC and the VA School might have more information on him. I would like to see a pix of him and I am sure the other Basses were related to him. I also think both schools would like to have copies of this picture for their archives. I can forward more info on how to contact them if you wish. Nancy Abbott in MD
