My grandmother told me that he was born around Manassas, VA and moved to what is now Nicholas County, WV sometime after the Civil War. The 1880 Nicholas County Census lists the following: Wife: Elvira T (43), Children: Andrew (20), Robert (16), Sallie (15), Harry (8), Lucy (6), and Lena (5). If anyone has any information on Dixon's in Prince William County, I would be grateful. I have hit a brick wall! Thanks!
