Hello subscribers, When I was looking on the web for something the other day, I stumbled across a website for the 250th anniversary celebration for Prince Edward County: http://www.princeedward250.org/ One of the items I noticed in the Events Calendar is the reissue of "History of Prince Edward County, Virginia" by Herbert Clarence Bradshaw. According to the website, this book is available from the Prince Edward County administrator's office. A phone number is posted on their website: http://www.princeedward250.org/events.html There is also information about the book on the history page, but I figured out that Netscape 4.79 can't see that page. Netscape 7.1 can see it however: http://www.princeedward250.org/history.html >From what I've heard from two people, this book sounds like it's well worth the cost, which is minimal when ordered from the county. If I'd been on the ball, I would have sent out a "Happy Birthday" message on January 8th. However, at that time I was preparing to defend my dissertation proposal....so I missed the opportunity.
