I am seeking any information about the family of Joseph Vaughan/Vaughn who was born in Virginia approximately 1740-50. He may have been in Henrico, Prince George, Prince Edward, Amelia county areas. He was in neighboring Goochland Co., Va. in 1770 and was married to Ann Payne. Then he was in Bedford Co. in the 1780's & 1790's, and in 1800 in Botetourt Co., Va. Among his children were Joseph Jr., James, William, Mitchell, Janney, Ann Tucker Vaughan, Elizabeth Payne Vaughan, Mary, and Clary (Clara).
