Davidson married Thomas Chumley on January 21, 1818 in Prince Edward County, VA. Elizabeth was the daughter of John Davidson (his wife is said to POSSIBLY have been a Nancy Rice). John was the son of Joshua Davidson and Sarah "Sally" Owen (daughter of John Owen and Sarah Phoebe Brackett). Joshua was one of seven children (six boys and one girl) of John Davison (b. about 1693) and Ann Sons, who moved to 400 acres in Prince Edward County from 100 acres in Orange County, VA. I have no information on Mr. Chumley's family or his children.
