I am looking for someone to search the Prince Edward courthouse records for a will in the 1760's, maybe the estate settlement, and a deed mentioned in the will, and any orphan records of the children left behind. I have a published transcription of the will, but I need someone to find the original at the courthouse and mail a copy to me. I will pay whatever is required for your time, within reason. I have spoken with the county clerk. They do not do research. Does anyone know someone living near the courthouse, who can do this for me? I will mail them a check to get started. Thanks, Edwin email me direct if you wish. [email protected] Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There are a lot of small local, church and family cemeteries in the Farmville area, not just one or two very large ones like you find in cities.
