But there is Littleberry Tucker, Epps Tucker and Worsham Tucker in the later 1700's . There is a marriage record of an Elizabeth Dennis married Richard Dennis Prince Edward Co 1795. There are two Richard Dennis in Nottoway Co 1800 taxes. Richard Sr. and Jr. They are 1st cousins. It is suspected that the Richard Jr married the Haskins. I am hoping there is something in the Thomas Haskins estate ca 1800 Prince Edward that would provide info as to which married Elizabeth. The Haskins are less than 10 years difference in age. Thanks for the reply Thanks Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. That would be James Jones Foster, son of Lt. Robert Foster and Elizabeth James (widow of an Unknown Jones). Robert died May 1789 in Amelia Co. Elizabeth Jones Foster remarried for a 3rd time to George Foster Nov. 1789, possibly a brother to Robert, but this is still unproven. Son James J. Foster removed to Kentucky and died in Allen Co. Dec 1821. In 2006 I transcribed two books on Pittsylvania County, VA- "Land Tax List of Pittsylvania County 1782-1802" and "Abstracts of Pittsylvania County, VaA Deeds 1783-1790"- which were published by Southern Historical Press in Greenville, SC. My contract called for me to receive $750.00 per book. LaBruce Lucas, the owner of Southern Historical Press, has only paid me for one of the books even though I have called him many times over the last four years. If you are interested in publishing a genealogy book, I would suggest that you not consider Southern Historical Press. Therefore I am going to sell the CDs of the books. I would be interested if any of you have any ideas on marketing these CDs. I will probably also put it on Amazon and Ebay. You can contact me privately at [email protected] I am working on several other Pittsylvania Books but haven't had the heart to really get back into it. Thanks for listening. Gayle Austin
