Allen, her widowed mother. With them was Betty's son, John James Wilson, age 2. That fits the Hollywood Cemetery profile perfectly! Question: Who is the Mary W. Fuqua, 76 who is head of the household that year? She was there in 1850 also.

I suspect she is Dr. Merrit B. and Lucy (Farrar)Allen's daughter. They were from Cumberland Co. Their son John James Wilson Jr. was buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, giving his parents' names. I'd appreciate any help here. I'm researching the Wilsons of Charlotte/Prince Edward/Cumberland Counties. Thanks from California.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/yBC.2ACI/456.1 Message Board Post: I am descended from Harriet J. Mickle, born abt 1817 in Prince Edward Co., VA to James Mickle and Jane Elam. He was the immigrant from Scotland and left a will proved 20 June 1864. He also had a brother, William Mickle who immigrated about the same time (1799?). I do not have a copy of the will, but it may be that your Harmon was the son of one of these two men. Jane Elam Mickle died and James remarried. The will lists children from both marriages. Hope this is of some help.

    3. Wanda, The URL is: http://www.lva.lib.va.us/ It has been redesigned in the last few months or so. While some people think the redesign is an improvement, I personally do not. I think it is harder to find information now than it used to be (and I have a Master's Degree in Library Science from one of the top Library Science programs in the country...). If you have trouble finding what you are looking for once you get there on the site, let us know; perhaps we can help. -- Mary Taffet List Admin for VAPRINCE mdtaffet@syr.edu LQQKNGOOD@aol.com wrote: > > Can someone tell me the url for the Library of Virginia?
