Both are said to be the sons of Zaccheus Hurt & Judith Sallard. Some sources say that Zaccheus Hurt died in Pittsylvania County in 1827. At that time, his son Macon was dead, survived by three children, William H. Hurt, Albert P. Hurt and Eliza Ann Hurt. 1. Did Zaccheus Hurt leave a will or estate in Pittsylvania Co? 2. Is there a family settlement deed for real estate owned by Zaccheus Hurt? 3. A Zaccheus Hurt turns up in early Maury/Giles County, TN ca. 1812--is this my Zaccheus and should I be looking in TN for an estate?
