Hi all, My grandmother Roberta Carter moved with her parents and sister from Amelia County to Ringgold in the 1910's. Her father worked for the railroad, his name was Hiram Lee Carter(1867-1941). Hiram Lee's first cousin, William "Willis" Thomas Carter(1851-1923) had moved to Danville with his family. I am trying to find anyone descended from Willis Carter and his wife, Mary Catherine Jeffress and their 11 children. I know some of their children did not have children, but most of them did. Not only were Hiram Lee and Willis first cousins, but their families were close back then. Thank you. God bless, Beth
