It has a picture of Richard C. keatts made in 1882. 5 of his children died of diptheria a few years before. Alvie Burton Keatts b. Dec 30, 1864 was one of his surviving children. He married Augusta Barrow and they lived in Axton. He died in 1935. They had 9 children: Howard, Davie, Winnie, Mary, Flunary, Nora, Clarence, Horas and Lilly. His son Flunary Keatts married Emma Brumfield and they had 9 children: Augusta, Rachel, Madeline, Flunary, Marion, Doris, Frank, Fred, and Margaret. ...Emma Keatts who I believe was the grandmother of Jubal Towler the writer of the book was another surviving dauther of Richard C. Keatts. The Brumfields are tied back to the Towler line back in the 1840s a Sarah Crider married 1st Henry Towler then after he died she married Thomas K. Brumfield. Sarah had 9 children by her 1st husband and Thomas had 9 by his first wife so there were 18 people living in the same household back in the 1840s. You need to ! look at this book. "Fruit of the Garden" by Jubal Towler
