    3. Wow, thank you. I'll try to scan some of mine there as well. I've got graves stone pictures from here and there and usually, they are ones that do not appear in the VA/NC books. The sad thing is that so many of them are now so overgrown, it's almost impossible, even when there are good directions, to find them. I tried to find the grave of Sarah "Sallie" Keesee Colbert. I had great directions, both in the book, and from another family member. Yet, we went down the same road, three times. Finally, I went up to a house, and asked. The older gentleman who used to own the farm (now owned by the son) said it was right where I'd been, but I had to LOOK> So, back again we went. I stood there and it was like looking at one of the "hidden pictures" things. Suddenly, I spotted one stone. Then I saw three, then maybe 50. Now I think that stone is probably broken by the large cherry tree that was taking it over 5 years ago. I did a "rubbing" which is a no no and tried to take a picture, though it's very poor. Shame as it was a very nice, white marble stone, carved with flowers, from 1871, but it's going to be lost. I will check out that site and see if I can upload some of these pictures. Mike, I'll give you better directions to some of these places, if you'd like to travel, though many are in the northern part of the county.
