    2. This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ----3d5a2a2b186f1a0c Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit What became of Anthony Holloway and his wife Anne ("Nancy") Williams who were bonded for marriage in Pittsylvania County, Va on 21 Dec 1801? Anthony's name appears in at least the personal property tax lists of Pittsylvania County for 1796, 1799, 1801, and 1802 (maybe later also, but I don't have information from post-1802 lists). I don't find Anthony's name in printed indexes to the later federal census returns of Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, or Tennessee. According to "Holloways of the South and Allied Families," by C. J. Stevens, editor, pub. 1977 by Polyanthos, New Orleans, pp. 617-618, Anthony was one of 7 children born to James Holloway who first purchased land in Pittsylvania County in 1784, being listed there on the 1785 tax list with 10 in his family. One sister to Anthony Collie was Frances Holloway who married April 1791 in Pittsylvania County, VA to John Collie. About 1806, they moved to Caldwell County in western Kentucky. Did Anthony and his wife Anne (Williams) Holloway also settle there? Or where? I am interested to learn of descendants of Anthony and Anne. I am related to her though the Williams family. I do not have additional Holloway records.
