I found them in 1900 and 1910: MATHERLEY, JAMES M 48 M W VA VA PITTSYLVANIA CHATHAM DIST 1900 MATHERLY, JAMES M 56 M W VA VA PITTSYLVANIA CHATHAM 1910 I could not find them in 1920. But I didn't search through the 19 Matherly and 10 Matherley households. They could be an elderly couple with one of their kids as the head of household.
