I have Eanes family living in Pittsylvania Co. in 1860 I am looking for a death on this family. Delila/Dilila/Dehlia (her name was spelled many ways) Born About 1789 (maiden name Scates), husband John Eanes. Son John S. Eanes was living with them in 1860 he was born Abt. 1820. John Eanes was born Abt. 1783. I know with the war coming up, changes took place. Please if someone has death of Pittsylvania Co. and you see the names here please let me know. In 1860 Pittsylvania census it reads: John Eanes 79, Farmer listed land $1,500 personal $50.00 (So I know he owned land, maybe a will or estate there!
