Keatts (also known as Alvie) b.3 Dec 1864 in Henry County, VA married Augusta Loula Barrow b. 11 Oct 1870 in Henry County, VA. They were married 17 Dec 1885 in Henry County, VA. Alvis (the youngest of two children) of David C. Keatts and Mary Ann Eliza Gregory and Augusta (Gussie) (the oldest of 6 children) was the daughter of Absolom Flournoy Barrow and Martha Susan Wyatt. Alvis and Augusta had 8 children that lived to adulthood and married. 2 married Eanes, 2 Moorefield's, and 2 Brumfield's. 1. Nora May Keatts married Archer Thomas Eanes 17 Dec 1916 in Pittsylvania County, VA. 2. Clarence B. Keatts married Julia Ruth Eanes 25 Oct 1919 in Pittsylvania County (Archer Thomas and Julia Ruth were children of Thomas Jefferson Eanes and Nannie Alice Gray) 3. David Thomas Keatts married Callie Lee Moorefield 9 Mar 1913 in Pittsylvania County. 4. Mary L. Keatts married Archer James Moorefield 9 Dec 1914 in Pittsylvania County. (Mary killed Archer) (Callie Lee and Archer James were the children of Charles E. Moorefield and Nannie L. Vernon) 5. Flournoy Edward Keatts married Emma May Brumfield 16 Sep 1916 in Pittsylvania County. 6. Lilly May Keatts married Eugene Brumfield 24 Dec 1924 in Pittsylvania County. (have not done any further research on the Brumfield line) The last 2 children of Alvis and Augusta: Howard Keatts married Kate Ferguson 21 Dec 1908 in Pittsylvania County. Horace Eugene Keatts married Pearl Lena Barber 9 Apr 1921 in Pittsylvania County. I have a picture of Alvis, Augusta, and Lillie (the youngest) cir. 1912 and a picture of Alvis, David, & Nora May Keatts and Callie Lee Moorefield on David and Callie's wedding day (very poor quality).
