I am descended from Isaac East, third son of Thomas and Obedience. Are you familiar with "Thomas East of Pittsylvania Co., Virginia" revised in 1947? It is available in the library in Richmond, Va. and at the Jones Memorial Library in Lynchberg, maybe in other libraries, but I know they are there. Also, the website belonging to Susan Shields Sasek has a copy of it. I will send you some information. Thanks!
