Hi, I am new to the list and could use some assistance. I an trying to locate some old history books and biographical sketches of prominemt citizens, published probably in the mid to late 1800's. for Pittsylvania county and the surrounding area, that would be formatted in Adobe Acrobat pdf. The reason I need Adobe is because I am with the US Navy, deploying here shortly for 6 months and I do not have storage room on the ship, yet rather I could keep the Adobe on my laptop computer. I have checked some surrounding counties to no avail. So I thought I would try here. I can receive a 10mb file through here, but anything bigger in size would probably need to be zipped, or even on CD-ROM Any help would be greatly appreciated.
