Did you ever discover the names of the parents of Samuel F. Adams? Since there are several SAMUELs in my great-grandfather's family, there might be a connection! My great-grandfather was Redmond W. Adams (1825-1911). He had a son Samuel W. Adams who had a son Samuel R. Adams. I had thought perhaps Redmond's father was Samuel, but discovered it was "Redmond"! However, the older Redmond Adams (born abt 1795, married Dec 1807) may have had a son or brother named "Samuel"! One of Redmond W. Adams' sons moved to Vance Co. NC.
