Surely, you have had your questions answered. My great-great-grandfather Redmond Adams, I just found out, owned land land at Shockoe and sold it to his son-in-law (I think)in 1860. His son Redmond W. Adams (my great-grandfather) owned land and lived in Halifax County. I have learned that, in dealing with locations so close to the county line, it is best to check BOTH court houses! Does the name Redmond Adams "ring any bells"? I had hoped to find a will or something to indicate who his children were, but such was not the case. Do you have any info that would help me? THANKS!
