The first wat William Walters son of Archibald Watters (Walters) from South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. Some of them married in NEWTON, Scotland. One of William`s sons was Robert Walters, Sr. who married a Johannah McBee in Virginia. Over the years they came together in Pittsylvania County, VA had families, fought the Revolutionary War. and then moved on to Franklin County, GA in the area of BIG SHOALS CREEK & Tugaloo,River, 600 acres.
