    1. Re: [VAPITTSY] Abosolom Black
    2. Hi, I don't know much about Absolom Black. I recently found out he was a moderator of Camp Creek Baptist Church in Baldwin County, GA during the early 1800s. I am not sure if he died in Baldwin County, GA or Tallapoosa County, AL about 1847. I think his wife was Mary Brown possibly from Greene County, GA. That is all I have. I diffidently think he was a son of Thomas and Susannah Black as he is a younger child. There is a possibility the Thomas was married twice and Susannah was married twice. I don't know the spouses of either one yet. I don't know about the name Absolom. I don't know of any other persons named Absolom. Thomas is definitely a family name going for at least 9-11 generations. My brother's middle name is Thomas. Let me know if you are able the get any more information. Thank you.
