I have found info that shows Williams father as James Taylor and Mary "Polly" Wooding but the date of their marriage and the birth date I have for William seem like this is not the correct family for him. I have a birth date for him of 1782 which is 6 years before the 05 May 1788 marriage date for William and Polly. I would certainly appreciate any help on this line.
