My Walters came to Va in the 1740s and consisted of William and sons Robert and Thomas and possibly others. I think it is a good possibility that your Thomas was a part of my Original Walters family. They came fron South Lieth, Midlothian, Scotland, near Edinburgh & Newton. They were descended from Archibald Watters (Walters) and Elizabeth Baugh. The parents stayed in Scotland, William & family wnnt to Fairfax County, VA Lunenburg County was then formed, then Pittsylvania County VA is where my Robert settled as a young man in his 20s an d married a Johannah McBee. If these are your family, I wouls like to discuss more family history with you.
