Hello list, I would like to add a quick note to my lat post searching for Af. Am. Roberts. A relative says they may not have been after all. "Free Person of Color" was their designation in Ohio, and their physical descriptions are "light complexion" and "bright complexion", which I now know could mean several different races...Indian, Portuguese, Black/White, Indian/White, ect....no matter which, I am still looking to connect with anyone researching the same.
