Hello list, I am searching for anyone else researching the African American line of Roberts from Pittsylvania County, Va. They migrated to Lawrence County, Ohio in 1827. They were bi-racial, mixed with which races I do not know. The husband was named Pleasant Roberts,born Christmas Day, 1789, his wife was Hannah, (maiden name unknown), born in 1794. They were the parents of 7 children: Betsey/Elizabeth Elvy Paulina Laura Penelope Charles John I am ultimately searching for the parents names of both Pleasant and Hannah, but also looking to share information and connect with anyone else researching the same.
